This is the first book in the series of Betty Boo Boo Books. Telling the story of a little dog who is concerned she is different to all the other dogs and has no friends. She decides to go for a walk in the park and by doing so meets lots of other dogs who are just as different as she is. At the end she realises she is not such an odd bod dog after all.
A book with a moral for children who feel they are different or don't fit in. Beautifully illustrated with pictures of all the dogs Betty meets.

Learns to Swim
In the second book of the Betty Boo Boo series Betty goes to the seaside and meets lots of different sea creatures. She cannot swim so finds herself rescuing the creatures from the beach but she cant follow them into the water. Eventually she gets carried out on a big wave and all the creatures she saved come to her resuce and teach her how to swim.
A lovely book for children frightened of water. Also a good learning tool for what they may find at the beach.

Goes To The Fair
Continuing the theme for Betty this time she goes to the fair where she learns how to cope with heights on the big wheel, becoming dizzy on the dodgem cars and carousel and learns not to eat too much ice cream and candyfloss
Many children may not have had the opportunity to go to a fair but Betty gives such a detailed description of each ride that they will feel like they are there.

Wants A Drink Of Milk
This time Betty goes further afield and on a hot summers day decides it would be nice to have a drink of milk. Not sure where to get the milk she goes to the farm where she meets lots of farm animals and asks them all if they can help. Most of course say they cant but point out where she can go and eventually she finds he drink of milk.
For children who have not been to a farm or who do not know where milk comes from this is a funny book giving them them the answers.
