School Reading
My first reading for 44 children
I am priviledged to have been invited to Aberford C of E Primary School to read Betty Boo Boo The Odd Bod Dog to a group of 44 Primary School children. I am a little daunted as this will be the biggest test of the book and me. I do hope they all enjoy themselves.

Has wire haired dachshunds and is the Patron of the Wire Haire Dachshund Club
Knowing wire haired dachshunds exrtremely well (having had them in my life for the last 25 years) I would definately recommend this charming children's book about Betty Boo Boo, to any parent who wants their child to understand the inquisitive nature of a wire haired dachshund, and for their child to learn about many other breeds of dogs, who are all Betty Boo Boo's friends. The beautiful illustrations capture the different dogs and their personalities perfectly

BOOK LAUNCH
The Book Launch was a huge success. Many books and toys were sold. All wanted the books signed by the author and Betty. The raffle and picture auction raised £700 for The Red Foundation and Dachshund Rescue UK. It was a dreadful night with heavy rain, blocked road and traffic jams but the audience thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Hope to have another one soon.
